Been on heRO for a while, and have enjoyed quite a few events, seasonal quests, birthday quests, and met some great people. GMs are friendly and I never have trouble finding one. They are always happy to sit around and talk for a while. There is a pretty useful wiki too, that is updated by players with custom gears and quests. I wish I had more time to play.

WoE competition is still barely existent because people are too unwilling to put forth the effort to get "WoE ready." GMs are very friendly and helpful. Community is overall friendly but people need to lighten up. Customizations are extensive and remain mostly balanced, they also go beyond gears and include official monsters/maps. Updates have gotten more timely, but SVN updates are still slow to come. It may be an old server, but newbies can come in and get acquainted easily so come join us! :D

I feel like heRO is a wonderful server because it has everything I want for any mood I may be in. For example, if I want to level then it isn't very hard to find a party on main. If I want to talk then guild or main chat is always full of people. The low rates keep competition to those who work hard for their items. The GMs are helpful but I would wish that there was at least one who would get on during the hours that the others are sleeping so we always have GM assistance.

Best LR server, due: - Minimal lag (occasional spikes on some days) and always available; - Most people are friendly; - GMs are awesome: available, friendly, fast and fair; - Economy is good: you can trade for most items and zeny has decent worth; - Customs are a plus, not unbalancing but adding FUN; - Server life doesn't depend on WoE (it is not WoE-based, which is great), but WoE is good; - EVENTS!! Plenty of them, for all tastes. The light/dark system tops it up! I have no complaints at all.

This is a small, friendly server. GMs are on quite often and run events regularly which are open to everyone, not just high level characters. Economy works well with high level people regularly buying drops from low-level monsters so the the leveling person get build up a fair cash flow. People are very helpful, giving fair and not sarcastic answers to silly newbish questions. The custom stuff is primarily for looks, not overpowered for stats.

Re-renewing my review: Plenty of customs, whether gears, events or quests. Customs are balanced. GMs are active ingame and on the forums and are friendly, and, in some cases, quite the chatterbox. XD Ticket system is handy. There have recently been a few WoE complaints, but I do not WoE. Economy has improved since last review. Community, for the majority, is friendly enough, but doesn't tolerate excessive laziness displayed by some players. Gogo and join.

I've been played on this server for at least 6 months and I'm still here. HeRO is the greatest low-rate server I've ever played, though I had some trouble for events since I'm in a different time zone (-11 of the server time). They welcome newcomers, and would like to help. I remember how I first came to this server and someone help with the basics. The GMs are helpful too. They often seen sitting in Prontera. Too bad I've never tried the PvP and WoE since it's low-rate and I'm lazy to level.

well even though i share the same computer my younger sis(icey) uses.. this server is still fun to play. honestly, the best low rate private server i've been on.. i haven't been on this server for more than a year but it got better when i just logged in a few days ago... GMs are often seen around helping and chatting with players. lots of fun quests to do. everything is balanced.. events at frequently held.. most customs are obtained from quests, and very friendly~ ^^ Keep up to great work! :'3

one of the friendliest server I've been in and more importantly it is eventful and full of vibrant player personalities (both players and gms). lots of regular events which just about anyone can participate from various levels and class and is very multicultural. the spontaneous events are very interesting and original which is what kept me in the server.

I have not been playing this server for very long yet, but already I love it. It is always up when I want to play it, and the community seems nice and helpful. The thing I like most about this server is that it doesn't hand you everything super easily.
