I'm playing RO since 2005 and yet i must say this is the server which is the closest thing that gives same experience as official server. Community is helping a lot, GM's response instantly. Also there isn't any other server with these rates, no donation system or dual client in Europe. Long story short if you want feel and have same experience as 20 years ago this is your server !

I've various low- and mid-rate servers with stat/skill reset, warp NPCs, and similar conveniences. I usually would play a leveling build of whatever class and multiclient to heal/buff myself. It was fine, I guess, but something was missing. I found that missing something here in retRO. One client restriction means everyone you see (except vendors) is controlled by another person. Want a group? Party up! Timed content rollout leads to a classic feel. This is what keeps me at retRO. Join us? :)

Bad server in my opinion.Boring and stale. GM's don't even care about people honest opinion to let it grow and stuck like an old brain dead grandpa mindset. Mostly dead server with declining population and nothing to do but mindless grinding with lots of bugs WHICH if you dare play don't bother reporting any major bugs coz they will just ignore and timeout you on discord. Bad economy too with stupid prices set up by stupid player.They have @$$ kisser as pet so want ez life just suck up to the gm

Boring server. Gms act like robots. Like, no human emotion or sense of enjoying what they do. Feels like they address it like a job they hate but must attend. No events. No stylist, no costumes. Single client, but no parties because of random item sharing. Classes and mobs change with each episode, so you`ll encounter all unbalanced things that were corrected in latter episodes slowly bit by bit. New episode once in 6 months. Community consists of snowflakes that find everything offensive. NIEN!

Pretty good classic RO, the only few changes that the admins have done to skills and other things are pretty minor. The only big one is no multi-client, and it's glorious, pretty much the number one reason to play this server. My one complaint would be that the people playing it want money but won't grind, so they get a single rare card and then just vend it for ludicrous prices for months on end. If that doesn't work (which it seldom does) whine on discord. Avoidable issue IMO, just grind.

New server with growing population. The GMs are friendly and quick to respond to any inquiries. The server seems to be fairly stable, spare a couple hiccups in the recent days. The only considerable downside is that the economy is still underdeveloped as the population is still growing, but this issue shall resolve itself with time.

Perfect server to enjoy the true ragnarok experience. The 1x drop rates and the lack of autoloot and multi client makes the experience very different in a very positive way. For example, thiefs steal becomes really important and an archer has to evaluate if the encounter will be profitable or not. Community is also very nice and growing. Gm support is really fast and attentive.

no donation - no pay to win. no npc buff no warp npc no dual client, support char will be active player :D if you are looking for classic 99/50 Job 2-2, this is the correct server for you! community are friendly to make good mood playing :D. This server has no cash shop like OriginsRO and some other server. Why did I leave a populated server such as OriginsRO to go there ? That's simple, GM can be close or distant to a player but they stay polite and don't overeact. I didn't see people bypassing the server to dual clienting yet. What does the server need to get better ? MORE PEOPLE, YOU HAVE RATE 1, NO CASH SHOP, WHAT DO YOU NEED EXCEPT A STABLE SERVER WITH THE NOSTALGIA THAT WE SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHOUT CASH SHOP IN THE PAST.

Authentic, classic, pre-renewal 1x server. Economy isn't great yet, but the server is still new. Reminds me of iRO before the cash shop ruined their servers. I like that this server does not have a thousand ugly clothing and hair dye palettes. Have had a good impression of the GM team so far - I hope this server continues to do well and stays around for a long time.
