Update: Dead server. Still no punishment for exploit abusers. I played this server for 2 months and staff will deny I did because they cant take criticism. There was a massive exp exploit here abused by favored guilds. Staff refused to punish any of them or do a rollback. The more I played the more I realized dmg is done and the integrity of the server is ruined. Staff is trying to censor this now to protect the cheaters. The go-to PR lie from staff is that it was official behavior but not true.

my time at retro the good: pre-re and uptime. the bad: inconsistency, broken game mechanics, guild favoritism, poor economy. big exp exploit but honestly the bad part to me is different rules for different people on it. my take: either the staff had no idea and their fav guild systematically misled them on how severe it was thus they should be banned (and the staff isnt fit for the job), or the staff knew and let them do it anyway until we found out. either way I cant recommend

OK BIG WARNING. so there have been many incidents where the impartiality of the admin team was called into question, like guild members as GMs and the high amount of MVP cards, and IMO this recent one solidifies it. I would have to play a month w a good party to get the exp gain they were getting in a day using an exploit in a guild dungeon to pump out finished econ WoE characters in just 1-2 hours. staff changed it when it got out and did no rollback! discussion is being censored.

A guild abused a bug to get what is equiv to 50x exp rates for boosting chars up to high levels. This makes an already imbalanced server even more imbalanced and staff have glossed over this, dismissed concerns, and tried to sweep it under the rug. As the owner of a Bard that was leveled up to a decent level the regular way I cant help but feel a little shafted. As many notice woe was already doing poorly. Don't play here.

if you want a server that isnt owned by the players closest to the staff youre in the wrong place. the big guild here abused an exp exploit for a long time and conveniently theres not going to be any bans or resets even though they were earning 80m exp/hour. the economy is weak and woe is even more dead because this server is a playground for certain people. normal players are being gaslight. the efforts of honest players have been wasted. stay away youve been warned

Don't get fooled by this server it says 1x but there are an entire guild who abuses bugs and nothing is being done about it while they pwr LVL up all the way to 99 while the rest of the players struggled esp newbies. If you WOE here there is no chance that your guild will even catch up because of the favoritism. ImhO they should be punish for breaking the rules. Don't even get me started with economy its all a lie... go ahead and check for urself you'll thank me later that I warned u.

I regret playing here. The maun issues are bugs, so many bugs, and the imbalance from these bugs and them showing favoritism toward certain groups. WoE is uncompetitive and was premature. The flywing bug, mob mdef bug, the flee bug, and the player def bug are just some to name in a stream of major bugs that wouldnt even pass pre-alpha. Then a major leveling exploit that certain groups quietly abused for months with permission. It's so messed up that only a full wipe can fix. Just awful. Avoid.

The admins are decent folks but I can no longer recommend this server based on all of the bad things that have been pilling up specially the last exp exploit where top guilds got max level and high level chars. They make their desicions around big guilds and their interests. Server has lots of bugs constantly, though the admins try to keep up with fixing them...too many constant maintenances.. Player and guild balance is badas the server launched EXTREMELY unbalanced which allowed many power leveling methods that are not available today.. Server is flooded with more MVP and mini Cards than servers 3x it's age (suspicious), confirmed via guild leaders+gms on discord chat log. . Good server if want cheap and emulator experience with lots of changes vs euRO/iRO

Bad server in my opinion.Boring and stale. GM's don't even care about people honest opinion to let it grow and stuck like an old brain dead grandpa mindset. Mostly dead server with declining population and nothing to do but mindless grinding with lots of bugs WHICH if you dare play don't bother reporting any major bugs coz they will just ignore and timeout you on discord. Bad economy too with stupid prices set up by stupid player.They have @$$ kisser as pet so want ez life just suck up to the gm
