retRO is a great take on a near-official, no donates classic server with episodic releases. WoE is due to start in a couple of months along with the next set of episodic updates. The GMs are friendly and available most times and will resolve issues/glitches quickly. The discord community is lively and helpful. As a new server the economy is yet to pick up and PvP is not very active. All in all a real blast from the past. Works like a charm on Linux via Lutris. PServer done right :)

This is the kind of lowrate Server I wanted to play on. One that reminds me of euro. At first is was concerned with its one client policy, but it let me to interact with other players instead of just dual clienting. Thanks to this I had more fun that I thought I would have. Company helps with the grind, of which there's a lot of. Due to the currently low population there isn't much of an economy.

Have only played for a few days but, so far, so good! The current episode being the 6th, I don't know much about how things were back then but the server's website provides databases of items/maps/monsters that are relevant for the current episode. On discord, the few times I asked a question, it was answered quickly by a GM or another player. The server is slow paced since the rates are x1 (x2 exp as part of an event) but it's great to experience the original version of the game without p2w

So far it appears to be a very friendly community. Total play-to-win. The GMs are very attentive and welcoming. The economy is small but for the # users/server age impressive. Gives that old school feel with only a few non-game breaking QoL features (eg @noks). I think this will be the perfect spot for us to set up our little LGBTQ-friendly guild. This server is on an early episode so be prepared things are a bit different for now. Server réponse is great even though I’m from another continent

I created an account on this website just to write a review for this server. This is exactly what I was looking for. No quest BS, no teleport everywhere or ridiculous atribute levels. This is the Ragnarok my friends and I grew up with. It's still a little small, but the people are nice and helpful. I want this server to thrive because people need to have the original Ragnarok experience.

I love how this server is a 100% play-to-win unlike other servers that comes off strong during first months to milk people's money and shut down after they successfully do it. Got commendable GMs too always doing their best. My only concern is the proxy. Connection is good but not the best and I think having proxy would be perfect.

I'm enjoying the server a lot so far, never had the experience to play a 1x Classic Server, and it feels like this is the way Ragnarok should be played. All the info you need regarding the episode/items/mobs/server modifications are available on the website, and they are even including more information there and reformulating it to be even better. The community in this server is just amazing. Too bad it doesn't have many players, but on the bright side, they are all real players. Come join us!

a truly classic experience, no donation items, GMS actually are there helping. The community is great and actually leveling with no multi-client helps a lot with meeting new people. The best option to come with friends and try to recatch what Ro is all about.

The server has a great well executed concept. GMs are really nice and available and I havent met any problems at all while playing. Community is actually growing as each day goes by and the server has a huge potential.

Went for this server because of their resemblance to classic, and I was not disappointed. Friendly players, stable server. The only downside I can think of is the playerbase still having to grow a bit, and maintenance taking long at times (but even then it's not that long).
