Update: Dead server. Still no punishment for exploit abusers. I played this server for 2 months and staff will deny I did because they cant take criticism. There was a massive exp exploit here abused by favored guilds. Staff refused to punish any of them or do a rollback. The more I played the more I realized dmg is done and the integrity of the server is ruined. Staff is trying to censor this now to protect the cheaters. The go-to PR lie from staff is that it was official behavior but not true.

RetRO is as close to a classic experience as you can get. No multi client, no donation items and no QoL Npcs. The community is rather small at the moment but they're very kind and helpful. There is an active WoE scene that's always looking for more people. The market is a bit chaotic but you'll be able to find fair prices for most things if you ask around. So if you're looking for a slow burn server where you need to work for your reward, you've found it.

I'm playing on this Server for about ten months now. In my honest experience there is no corruption/pay2win, GM's are neutral. That's the main reason I've chosen the server even over officials. There are some nice lore-friendly qol features like a banker or master storage, but beside this it feels very classic. Player numbers are increasing and we have cool events. Thanks to asw the connection is outstanding from all over the world. Community is friendly and helpful.

x1 and no multiclient. If you like that kind of server it's definitely worth giving RetRO a try. Because population is low economy and WoE are a bit lackluster. Should pick up when Episode 9 comes. There are some custom events and costumes available but they don't break the feel of the server.

I've been active and playing on this server since week one, and since we're nearing our one year anniversary, I thought I'd update my review. This is hands down THE BEST low rate server I have played so far, and also the longest I've played in one. The GM team is friendly and helpful, there are constant events, both server and community ones! Me and my guild migrated from another low-rate server back in January 2021, and we do not regret it; WoE is lots of fun, and soon to start again in a week!

As a former iRO and euRO player, I was looking for a representing private server with classic mechanics. Also I found 1x drop/exp very important for a authentic experience and a balanced gameplay. Joining the server (on discord fist) I was kindly surprised by the welcoming community which made me join the game instantly. The community is growing but big enough for a working market and organizing allot of parties. Finally, the staff is extremely dedicated and helpful.

Playing now since the first day on the server and can only say its solid. Its stable and community and gms are frendly, sadly guild competition in woe lacks couse of the lack of players and the market is only halfly satifying couse of the same reason. Else i cant say any negativ things lvling is fun and cant find any better server atm.

This is simply the best 1x1x1x server IMO. High population, excellent market, and the GMs are always willing to help. I met many cool players and they always help noobs and sell goods with cheap price. No donation or p2w bull**** is something else, really. Go download it right away, see you soon!
