Pros: Never see bots here. GMs are friendly and helpful. Items and cards price are ok. Cons: Low population, low Ragnarok version => less place to level, some job's skills do not match with ratemyserver.net

An excellent server for those who want to experience the official servers from before 2010. Any changes made are for the better and listed on their website. I live nowhere near the server and I enjoy clean lag-less play at all time.

Good in terms of stability/latency of the server itself. The community can be unfriendly and tiring with endless and nonsensical "discussions". No Pay Shops or any other pay2win mechanics is a great plus. Playerbase is pretty low at the moment and the economy is suffering. 1x and low playerbase -> lots of grinding. "follows the development of the euRO server" means episode deployment, and not the server experience itself. There are a LOT of differences, and the client still needs some work.

Coming back to Ragnarok Online every few years no private server has given me the same level of satisfaction that this one does. Playing on retRO feels like actually playing Ragnarok Online (again). The GMs are friendly and provide a completely donation and unfair advantage free environment. On top of that I have found a lot of fun people to hang around and enjoy the game with. Highly recommended.

Serveur stable, with a lovely communauty join us its more fun ! :) Nice economy, nice Gm, discord active, No lag, easy to make party, a lot of guild friendly, so many nationality play on this serveur.

What makes retRO so great is the GM team who work constantly to maintain and improve the server and the community who share a genuine love for classic RO in its golden years. The sever stability is excellent and I can play with no lag from across the world thanks to their AWS proxies. There are no customizations or donations. There are weekly maintenances and the updates episodically follow euRO time line. Overall a great server that is built to last!

Been playing here for about 8 months now and the time I spent here I don't regret! This is the most classic and true to old euRO server on a modern emulator to be found. Also there is NO P2W at all! GMs are giving us this great opportunity out of their own pocket. They are very responsive and friendly to the community. The server is very stable and lagfree. Economy is evolving great. Been playing on so many servers that went down or were just bad. retRO is by far the best experience I've had!

This is the server you should choose if you want to relive the original 1x euRO experience. I say euRO cause they release updates in the order it was back then. Server suffered from cancel culture lately when angry people spread false information about it. Rumors about boss cards or GM favoritism simply aren't true. It's funny if you are part of the accused players and you can only shake your head over it. Join Discord, talk to the GMs, see how nice they are. No need for drama, let's level up!^^

1x 1x 1x server, which gives you the classic RO feeling. No pay to win, but a fair system. The people that are online are nice people who are really helpful and kind. Great GM's and good stability in the connection.
