Server is great, connection is stable, community is helpful. GMs are active, friendly and helpful. Tho the PC environment of the server annoys me a whole lot. Free speech should be allowed, when not going against individuals. Great server to play, maybe ill change my mind in the future.

Hello everyone. Im not very good at English so i will try to empress myself straight forward. This server is a really good place to play ragnarok in general. I do like to play strict x1 servers but retRO is the best one that i have played before. It has some specific rules and the players should play at retRO by these rules. The main rule is no multi clients. Who would thought that that simple rule will change a lot. And by a lot a mean A LOT. If you like to play real mmo, than go and play retRO

I started playing RO when I was 9 years old. I am now 26. I have not had a private server sink its claws into me this deeply since then. I really love this server, I love the discord community, and the GMs are truly second to none. People trying to game the market due to the episodic release schedule has lead to some economic stagnation, but this server is Ragnarok almost completely unadulterated, the way it was meant to be played, and I am so grateful for that.

Friendly and helpful community and admins. Even if it's a 1x, everyone helps around so the struggle is way less than it may seem. Personally, I love the fact that you can't multi log accounts so we all must play the game as intended. There are 0 private servers features (no autoloot, no whosells, no refresh, no grf modification, etc) so be ready if you are used to some of those features from other private servers.

So far, so good. I was reluctant to try retRO because of the EU tag for latency reasons, but I'm getting an excellent ping in the US. Amazon can really deliver so the hosting and server stability is A++. People seem nice so far, and the GMs regularly crank out events that give very minor boosts like 1.5x xp and costumes to farm from rare monsters. No imba BS. No donations, no rewards for votes/writing reviews. Very good, rational old-school design philosophy for the classic player.

I've been playing RO since iRO beta. I've called many official and private servers home over the years, but this is the first private server I have felt strongly about reviewing. The admins are wonderful. Their vision is clear and consistent; they are honest and diligent. The community is very active and social. Parties available at all levels; support characters are always in demand. Easily the best 1x server I have ever played. Hope to continue with this server for years

Great server, GMs are friendly and extremely active on the Discord channel, tends to all questions and bugs swiftly. Community is great, though I wish there were a #main chat. Server is very stable, no lags playing from NA.

Server has lots of bugs constantly, though the admins try to keep up with fixing them...too many constant maintenances.. Player and guild balance is badas the server launched EXTREMELY unbalanced which allowed many power leveling methods that are not available today.. Server is flooded with more MVP and mini Cards than servers 3x it's age (suspicious), confirmed via guild leaders+gms on discord chat log. . Good server if want cheap and emulator experience with lots of changes vs euRO/iRO

Great server to play on. 1/1/1 rates with no bots so the economy is very healthy. Server is steadily growing and would have an amazing woe scene with 1-2 more guilds joining the server. Class balance is as expected with classic RO, but still enjoyable and fair.

I am playing since release, now am 6 month ish old player. Tried to give the most fair review. Everything on 10 is really a 10. Stability is 9 because sometimes it freezes, although ping is low globally (guaranteed.). Guild competition is 4 because only 2 guilds are competing for castles ATM (11/08/2021). class balance is a neutral 5 as it's up to you to consider vanilla ragnarok, 0 custom, balanced. (IMO it's balanced).
