Classic ro server that is picking up in online. 120 real players so far. slow lvling and poor life at start but a lot of low level parties to make for it. nice people who are willing to help the youth if approached politely. lots of shops in alde autobuying plain stuff like blue herbs, stems, elu, ori etc, same as in the old days. no hateful conduct, no donuts, no warpers no job changers. woe exists, but i've not participated

Great 1x server, they were extremely welcoming of my guild and recently got a global amazon proxy which definitely helped with latency. GM staff cool, economy seems very healthy/active, have had nothing but good signs pointing towards a good time. Very happy to join and already having fun.

I played just recently and already having positive vibe. The GMs are very responsive (through game or discord) answering problems from the players. If you want to play ragnarok in original classic environment without pay to win option, this server is without a doubt one of the best out there. Number of players online maybe not so much but it is steadily increasing and don't forget, they prohibit multiple clients at the same time (which is really good for me).

RetRO is a great 1x/1x/1x server that is the closest thing that feels like old RO in the mid-late 2000s. Of course, there are some QOL features (i.e. banking system, #trade and #party channels), but it isn't game breaking and helps build the community. No dual-clienting is allowed so every character you see is a real player. It's been continuously growing now that WoE is active as well. Would recommend!

Moved here after having a bad experience elsewhere. It was refreshing to join and see how friendly this community is. The players are helpful and fun, and the GMs are responsive and accomodating. There are a few QoL features, but nothing crazy, and no p2w or donation incentives at all. I was planning to take a break after leaving my last server, but felt reinvigorated to try again from scratch after experiencing retRO.

As the name suggests this server brings you back to a classic "retro" RO experience. The economy is pretty good for a rather small server (90-100ppl online on avarage I'd say). People are friendly, GMs are helpful and active. No Idea about WoE, since I didn't join the fun yet. Will update my review if I do. One might argue about missing QoL features like @mi, @ws and stuff like that but I guess it's okay if you want to simulate an authentic oldscool feeling.

Hey hey, played there a while now and can tell if you loved Classic Ragnarok at the Start as many people on this Server, you will love this. Its a thankfully pretty low rate on Updates for Episodes and like an realy active Discord with active Gm´s to. For you WOE players i cant say anything about it because i dont play WOE at the moment. You can deal with the grind of a 1 rate?Come to this server!GMs did a great job. you can always ask them in discord and they try to find a good balance between their vision and the community wishes. We have an active woe with 3 guilds and 3 castles rotating every 10 weeks atm. Right now there is a 4th guild building, that comes from another server, so woe will be even more exiting. Community is super friendly and growing and you can find parties almost every day. Eco is fine and getting better.

I have been playing Ragnarok since iRO launched back in the day. Throughout the years, I have played on many private servers. Most have been very good. retRO is among the best. I used to play on rebirthRO and I am glad to have found this community. If you year for the ragnarok of old, come to this server. I hope it grows more and more.

The first server to make me turn on the ingame music and sounds, while clubbing Lunatics with a mage again. This server does feel like the good old times and makes you halluncinate that sweet smell of springtime, when you first started out. The GMs will respond to your inquiries within less than 24 hours, if not instantaneously. The community is helpful, kind and open-going. Gameplay-wise there's not much to explain. Ragnarok in its purest form. I can whole-heartedly recommend this server. ♥
